Project Description for Hydrogen EcoNanoMy
As an energy carrier, hydrogen has the potential to play a pivotal role in the transition to a new energy paradigm based on renewable sources. However, the application in the transportation sector is limited due to its difficult storage and lack of distribution infrastructure. On-board hydrogen generation is presented as a viable solution to such challenges, subsequently energising the hydrogen economy. By embracing the hydrogen economy, reliance on fossil fuels in the energy supply and mobility sectors can be minimised indefinitely.
