Riznal has over 21 years of diverse experience in marketing, communications and sales. He started his career at PETROSAINS Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PETRONAS, in 2000. Riznal then joined DISITU Holdings Sdn Bhd in 2006 as the Marketing and Communications Manager and was responsible for all matters related to marketing, communications and public relations for two luxury coach companies operating between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore under the group. In 2010, Riznal and several partners founded a sports distribution company, Allworks Distribution Sdn Bhd, and sports retail company, Futsalworks Sdn Bhd, where he led all marketing, PR, sales and operations activities.

Riznal joined NanoMalaysia as Vice President, Corporate Affairs in 2018 and is currently the Senior Vice President, Group Corporate Affairs. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Salford and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Passionate about futsal, he holds an Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Level 1 License.
